File Manager: Copying and Moving Files

  1. In cPanel, open the File Manager.
  2. In the popup window, choose "Web Root" and "Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)", and click "Go".
  3. Choose the files or folders you would like to move or copy. As with other file managers, holding ctrl will allow you to select multiple files, and holding shift allows you to select groups of files.
  4. Select "Copy" or "Move" from the top menu. You can also right-click on the selection and use the context menu that pops up.
  5. In the popup menu, choose where the copy or copies will be placed, or where the files are to be moved.
