winmail.dat

If you have received an email with "winmail.dat" attached, the person who sent the email is using Outlook. Their email is set to send in HTML or rich text, and Outlook attaches winmail.dat to such emails. You need Outlook to read this email. You could install Outlook, or you could ask the sender to re-send the email as plain text.
