Image Manager

This tool lets you view and modify images in your account. It can be found under the Advanced section in cPanel.


Thumbnailer

With this you can create thumbnails of all images in a directory. It is only capable of being applied to an entire directory, it is not able to thumbnail individual images.

Thumbnail Conversion:

 

  1. Select "Images" underneath the "Files" heading.
  2. Select the "Thumbnailer" link in Image Manager
  3. Select the folder beside the directory that you are trying to apply the thumbnailer to.
  4. Select the name of the folder to create thumbnails of all the images in that directory.
  5. Choose the values for Scale Percent, Keep Aspect Ratio, and Reset Dimensions.
  6. Select "Thumbnail Images".

A thumbnails directory will be made in the folder. It will have the prefix "th_".


Image Scaler

With the Image Scaler you can change the size of individual images.

Image Rescaling:

  1. In the Images manager, select "Image Scaler".
  2. Select the folder beside the directory that are trying to access.
  3. Select the name of the image you would like to rescale.
  4. Scale the image by setting the dimensions or choosing a scaling percentage.
  5. You can also toggle Keep Aspect Ratio, Retain a copy of the old image, or Reset Dimensions.
  6. Click "Scale Image" to complete the task.



Converting Image Formats

With the Image Format Converter, you will be able to change the image format. The Image Formatter only works on directories, not individual images.

Converting Image Formats:

  1. Select "Converter"
  2. Select the folder beside the directory that you are trying to access.
  3. Select the name of the directory to be converted.
  4. Determine which file format you would like your images to be converted to from the following options: .png, .gif, .jpg, .bmp.
  5. Select "Convert".
