Site Exceeded Bandwidth Limit, Raising Limit Did Not Help

If one of your sites has exceeded its bandwidth limit, but raising its limit hasn't fixed the problem, you probably need to upgrade the site to a better package. For information about creating packages, see the knowledgebase article here.

If, after upgrading the package, you are still getting the bandwidth exceeded message, then cPanel probably doesn't recognize the update yet. You can force this by following these steps:

  1. Select "Account Functions", then "Limit Bandwidth".
  2. Give the site 1MB more bandwidth.
  3. Click "Limit".
  4. Refresh the site.
