Editing .htaccess With cPanel's File Manager
- In cPanel, select the "File Manager" icon.
- Checkmark the "Document Root for" and select the appropriate domain name from the list, ensuring that "Show Hidden Files" is checked as well.
- Click "Go".
- Find the .htaccess file in your file structure. If you are having trouble, you can use the search box at the top right of the page.
- Right click on the .htaccess file, and select "Code Edit" from the menu.Â
