When using a WordPress plugin to migrate or import a WordPress backup, it is not uncommon to see high CPU and RAM resource usage in your cPanel statistics. The process of migration using a plugin is very resource intensive, but don't worry! Even our Mini Shared plans have ample resources to complete the task. It is completely normal that you might see your resource consumption spike or even max out in your cPanel during a plugin-based migration. We suggest only migrating via plugin during off-peak hours, however these limits are 'rolling' and should generally not affect website visitors. Once the migration is complete your usage will drop back down to normal levels and website visitors will not be affected.
