We offer free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates for all Shared, Semi-Dedicated, Reseller, and Dedicated customers. The server will automatically check your domain for a certificate within 24 hours of being pointed at your NixiHost account, and you can also prompt the server to check and install an SSL at any time. This process is quick - just follow these steps:
- Log in to cPanel
- Click "SSL/TLS Certificates"
- Click the "Wizard" tab at the top.
- Check the box next to any domain or subdomain you wish to secure.
- Click "Continue" at the bottom of the page.
The SSL check process can take as long as twenty minutes depending on the SSL issuing authority's load at the time. Once completed your domain will have an active SSL certificate securing it. If you see errors, please reach out to our Support team so that we can further investigate.
