Making your WordPress website to be as performant and secure as possible with the latest version of PHP by using MultiPHP

NixiHost now offers MultiPHP! Using MultiPHP, you can select from four different PHP versions - 5.6, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 8.0 & 8.1. MultiPHP allows you to set the PHP version independently for each of the domains managed by a cPanel account. The default PHP version is 7.2. When logged in to cPanel, follow this quick guide to set your PHP version:

  1. Scroll down to the "SOFTWARE" section
  2. Click "MultiPHP Manager"
  3. Click the checkbox or boxes next to the domain(s) you wish to manage
  4. Click the drop-down menu on the right hand side of the page
  5. Select the PHP version you wish to apply to the selected domain(s)
  6. Click "Apply"
