You can use the WordPress Dashboard to upload files to your blog. There are two different ways you can do this; you can either upload directly to a blog post, or you can upload through the media option in the dashboard.
Uploading Directly With The Flash Uploader
- Log in to the WordPress Dashboard.
- Click "Media", then "Add New".
- Click "Select Files" to open a dialog box.
- Choose which file you wish to upload.
Note: You can select multiple files by holding down the SHIFT key in Windows, or the COMMAND key in Mac OS.
Uploading A File To A Post
- Log in to the WordPress Dashboard.
- Click "Posts", then "Add New".
- Click "Add Media".
- Click the "Select Files" button.
- Select the file you want to upload.
- Select "Open".
- Enter any text you wish to accompany the file in the post.
Uploading A File To A Page
- Log in to the WordPress Dashboard.
- Click "Pages", then "Add New".
- Click "Add Media".
- Choose the file you want to upload.
- Click "Open".
- After the file has uploaded, click the Insert button.
