Mail Folder

All email boxes and messages are kept as files within folders in your account.

How to Access Mail Files and Folders

  1. In cPanel, open the "File Manager"
  2. Choose the "Home Directory", click "Go".
  3. Open the "mail" folder. Disregard any new, cur, temp, ,Trash, and .Sent folders here.
  4. Find the folder for the domain and email user you wish to explore.
  5. Once you open the email user's folder, the relevant new, cur, temp, .Trash, and .Sent folders will be visible. It is not recommended that you modify these folders; this method of access is mostly useful for bulk deleting emails or email accounts.
