Parking a Domain on an Addon Domain

  1. In cPanel, find the "Domains" section.
  2. Click "Domains"
  3. In the "Domain" field, enter the domain name you wish to park on top of you addon domain.
  4. Ensure that the checkbox next to "Share document root" is checked so that the new domain will serve the same content as your primary domain name.
  5. Click "Submit"

If you receive a "Domain Already Exists" error, it could result from the domain already existing elsewhere on your account. You will need to delete it from any other addon domains, parked domains, or subdomains. If the subdomain already exists, change the subdomain from the one cPanel automatically generated.
